Our “Welcome Fall Picnic” tradition began 6 years ago when I invited my sweet, little neighbors to join me
for an impromptu picnic, of popcorn & lemonade, to celebrate Fall’s arrival.
Although the event has grown and it was 90 degrees outside (this weekend), we still welcomed Fall
and got a head start on the day’s heat by changing our lunch to a Fall breakfast.
So, please join our celebration (virtually) and I hope it inspires you to create your own “Welcome Fall Picnic”….
FALL HAS ARRIVED!

HELPFUL HINT: Need an instant chandelier? Hang a multi-candle holder and add leaves & flowers!
{see next photo}
I found the plates, bowls & drink pitcher on the summer clearance aisle and spent less than $10 total!

Consider decorating with Pine Straw (vs. hay) for Fall. Afterwards, it makes a great mulch in your garden! 🙂
BREAKFAST
THE GIRLS ARRIVE!
so it’s time to eat!
Homemade Buttermilk Pancakes, a side of real Maple Syrup and the last of the summer fruit harvest… yum!
CRAFT TIME!
It’s amazing what you can do with some fall leaves, a jar of Mod Podge and dollar tree vases…
Wash the vase, clean any remaining residue with rubbing alcohol & dry.
Add a layer of Mod Podge, then Fall leaves and finally, a 2nd layer of Mod Podge (over the leaves).
Allow it to dry completely before adding a candle, flowers, pencils & pens, etc.
Look at how beautiful they look at night… the perfect touch of Fall!
Craft No. 2 is a touch of SpOOky Halloween fun!
Start saving your toilet paper rolls (trust me… this doesn’t take long! lol)
and check out how easy recycling them can be….
The girls get started by using tiny scissors to carve out their SPOOKY creations…
They really used their imaginations!
A little black craft paint is the last step.
Once dry and glow sticks are placed inside,
we’ll have “eerie eyes” ready to peer out of our bushes on Halloween night!
GAME TIME!
Eeek! Guess I better get that game board hung up before those spiders take off!
The girls try their hand at scoring BIG points in the Spider Darts game…
   Â

Gretta was the first one to “score BIG” so Lilly Grace gave her an approving smile!
The Girls loved their Halloween bracelets ~
and the fun of decorating their own lollipops…
We all hope you have a wonderful FALL!
