I’m lucky to have so many years of experience that I can create any wreath theme I need,
but most people don’t so here’s an idea that requires ZERO experience and can be used for ANY Season or Holiday!
I love monograms because they are such a unique and original representation of an individual or family. And when I found a company who would create one for me (out of wood), I was thrilled.
I wanted a monogram that reflected the first letter of mine & my hubby’s first name and the first letter of our last name.
The website, where I found my wood monogram, is www.ClassicPrepMonograms.com and their website is full of many different & wonderful personalized gifts (for yourself or someone special), so be sure to check it out. You can either click on the link above or use their website link located under The Seasonal Home’s “FRIENDS” section, on my HOME page.
Imagine finding the perfect gift for someone who has everything or is hard to shop for… here it is!
This year, I created a Peppermint theme and because of my monogram, the easiest part was decorating my wreath! Before adding it to my wreath, I painted the monogram white & red (this took all of 15 minutes!) to match my Peppermint theme. WOW… it was so impactful, on its own, that it was the only thing I used!
Here’s how the process went….
THE RESULT!
Needless to say, adding a bow is not necessary, but would also be cute…
And I can’t wait to repaint my monogram to create different looks for many upcoming seasons & holidays!
Enjoy the Creativity!

Love the monogram!
I love this idea. It is so beautiful and so classy. What a wonderful idea.
I think this would be beautiful as well on the front door wreath. Definitely would love one for my craft room too just to place on the wall. I’ve seen people put on their mantles too, but we can’t because we have the tv over the fire place. Love, Love Love these!
I have a beautiful plain wreath and I think the monogram is just what it needs. I’ve tried to decorate it and it never comes out right. It would look great on our front door or above the fireplace!! Just love all your decorating ideas!!
I have a beautiful plain wreath that I have tried to decorate, but it never turns out right! I think the monogram would be awesome. I’d either put it on my front door or better yet, above the fireplace.
That is really a neat idea. I love the monogram!
I have a very pretty white wreath, that has small lights, I think a monogram would look very pretty on the white wreath. I also like the idea of the red and white ribbon, which you could change to different colors.
Thank you for all the inspiration and ideas you give us.
Well I’m just going to have to live to 100 years old and decorate every year of that long life because I see so many wonderful ideas on your blog. Of course Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. This year I’m using your ideas in my kitchen and just got my tree done tonight. I would love to use the wreath idea for next years project. I love to plan a year ahead so I can find items on clearance at the end of the year. Since I don’t have a lot of money, I have to find ways to decorate on the cheap. 🙂
Thank you for sharing the website for the monogram. What a great idea for a gift. For myself, I would use white paint on the 2 outer letters and a fashion color on the middle letter and mount on a black wreath. Great idea to change colors for the seasons!
Sharon
Great idea. Not sure what exactly I would do with it but if I win I know it will definitely be featured.
Beautiful. Great idea!
Awesome job.
love, love, love. I am also using peppermints to decorate with. the monogram would be my (your) final touch.
Oohhh… this would make a perfect gift for my son and his soon to be bride at the end of this month. They could use it to decorate at the reception – behind the head table on an evergreen wreath in their wedding colors – as they are having a woodsy theme for decorating. Thank you for the chance to win.
Love it on the wreath! That is what I would do. Thanks for all you ideas
I’d use this on my front door year round! Could easily switch up the wreath for different seasons, or just hang it by itself! Thanks, Eileen! Happy Holidays!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this monogram. There are soooo many things to use it for. I love the idea of painting it for different seasons. My first thought was that it would be a neat TREE TOPPER. We have redone my husband’s grandfather’s house and have an old front porch that this would look wonderful on. Hope I win!!!!!! Thanks for sharing this wonderful gift.
I’m struggling with creating a wreath for my front door! This would be perfect! I need sometime faily flat so that it’ll fit behind the storm door.
Love the monogram. Would probably do the same as you did. Looks awesome on a wreath 🙂
I do not see my comment. I will try again. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. I first thought that this monogram would look good as a tree topper. I like the idea of painting it different colors for different seasons. It would also be cute to just use a ribbon to just hang the monogram by itself on a door or wall. Thank you for sharing and giving us the chance to win one.
Would love this for my door
I’d paint it lilly colors and decorate my Minnie’s room. So cute.
I would definitely hang a beautiful weath in my front door so everyone could see it. I think a wreath on the front door shows a welcoming home!
Love the wreath idea! But I think I would paint it to coordinate with my bedroom and place it over my bed. Then put something on either side if needed. Either way, it’s SO cool. I love monograms as much (maybe more?) as you do!
Merry Christmas, Eileen! And thank you for giving us yet another great idea!
LOVE! I would use this year round on my front door and change it up for different occasions. My front door gets a lot of sun and things tend to fade so I love the idea of being able to repaint this!
I would love to have the momnogram on my home all year round. This is such a pretty wreath.
Love the monogram wreath. I would put this on wreath that I could use all year long on my front door.
The monogram is lovely. I would want it up year round so I love the idea of changing the bow as a seasonal accent.
Love the monogram. Monograms are making a comeback in jewelry and now for decorations for the home!
this monogram wreath would be perfect for the front door of my daughter’s new home!
That is awesome and so sweet of you!
Great job, I love it!
Beautiful wreath. I think I would like to have the monogram for a wreath in my living room.
You never know- this could be my lucky day! Fingers crossed!
If I won, I might use my parent’s initials and give it to them!
