So, GOOD LUCK to everyone who enters and stay tuned for another adorable prize when I debut the photos of our fun 2014 Christmas theme next week.
Trust me… you won’t want to miss out on your chance to win that fabulous prize!!!
ANSWER:Β Not including ornaments, ribbon or greenery, 130 items were recycled and used in Christmas designs spotlighted in previous videos and our winner is…. Caroline Del Piano… who was the closest with her guess of 66 items.Β Congratulations Caroline! π

Well I started to count but then I just wanted to watch and enjoy. I have been waiting for this for a year and you didn’t let me down! Love everything.
Did you want us to count the ornaments that we think we have seen before too?
I love seeing things you used before but in a whole different way! I also loved seeing new things you added this year or had but didn’t use before.
You do make it impossible to pick a favorite look though. Each one is so lovely and festive.
You have taught me a whole new way to decorate! Thank you so much!
OK I’m off to go watch and enjoy again π
Hi Joanne and thank you for all of your kind words… and your question. You don’t have to include any ornaments in your total – just art or decorations. Thank you for bringing that up and good luck! π Eileen
I really have no idea how many “repeats” but I will guess 55. Beautiful video as always! Love all your new ideas!
Could you please tell me where you got the Christmas tree topper that puts what looks like snowflake lights onto the ceiling. And as usual, LOVE all your decor. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration! π
Hello Marilena and thank you! The tree topper is by Hallmark and is from this year (2014). If your store is out, please check out “Hooked on Ornaments”… one of the advertisers on my website; she ships worldwide. Happy Decorating! π
MAGICAL!!! I started watching it and my 8-year-old must have seen my face light up because he came over and watched it with me. The video brought tears to my eyes! His favorite was the kitchen/dining decor. He said he also loved the Santa playing pinball ornament. I loved how real the living room looked! Thank you for sharing, Eileen! XO
Katherine… your comment brought tears to my eyes… thank you! Please share the video if you don’t mind. β₯
Lovelu, Eileen, just lovely. I love the play off the wispy snowy garlands in your living room, and the brown accents-so very nice. You helped me with where to find some of your holiday wall art you have used in your videos, and I am back to ask about another piece. The wall art at 1:43 time in this video– the one that looks like pastel child’s art. Can you please tell me where you found it-I keep seeing it used in all your videos and I love it. Thank you for all of your inspiration!
You’re welcome Donna! π And I found that canvas wall art at a store called Tuesday Morning. Please feel free to share the video with your family & friends. β₯
Eileen, thank you so much for answering my question about this wall art last year. I have checked many times at a few Tuesday Morning stores around me, to no avail. Do you happen to know if this piece has any numbers or distributor information on the back of it. I dream about owning this piece of whimsical wall art!
Donna, I’ll be happy to look on the back of the print as soon as I can get to it & let you know. π Eileen
Eileen, thank you so very much. I realize this is an imposition, whenever you get it out to use this year is fine. I love it, but am not hopeful. I have googled everything I can think of to find it, to no avail. Thanks again, sweetie. ,
Oh, my goodness, Eileen! I am in absolute awe! How very beautiful, and magical. My heart is flying! If I didn’t feel Christmassy before, I sure do now. Many many hours of hard work, love and heart went into your dΓ©cor. Just…WOW.
(Thank you, Joanne K, for asking about the ornaments! Because I would have tried to count them, too.)
I will try my luck and guesstimate at 17…but really, watching this video again and again is a prize in itself.
A Merry Christmas to All! =o)
Thank you Pam. Loved your comments and good luck! β₯
Hi Eileen, LOVE!!!Everything looks amazing. How long does it take you to do everthing ?? My guess is 10 Thanks for sharing .Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you Linda. I can usually decorate the house in a couple of weeks (probably less, if I would stop changing my mind! LOL) Thanks for watching the video. Please share it if you don’t mind. β₯
Loving the video. My guess is 66.
P.S.
Where did you get the set of 3 Jacks ithat was in your previous video?
Thank you Caroline. I found those 3 jacks at Hobby Lobby.
Yet another amazing breathtaking display! You have been such in inspiration to me over the years to turn my home into the “North Pole”. I have been a Hallmark collector for 20+ years and love to see your ideas showing me new ways to display them. As of last year I am up to 3 full size trees, 2 smaller trees & garland over every doorway & window! My kitchen theme this year is all things food related so I was thrilled to see that your theme as well. Great job!!
Thank you Chrissey & I’ll bet your home is a Christmas Wonderland too! π
Eileen, you did it again, beautiful decorations, love the Gingerbread decorations. Yours put mine to shame, I don’t have that many Gingerbread men, did you bake yours?
Joyce
Thank you Joyce. This gingerbread men are ornaments and I think I saw them at Pier One this year
Joyce, I have been looking all over for those gingerbread ornaments and FINALLY found at Kirklands! They are sold out online, but I believe they still have them in stock at the store. Hopefully there is one located near you!

another great video. my guess would be 35
another great video my guess is 35
I was patiently anticipating this video and boy it didn’t disappoint. I love everything! You are my #1 inspiration hands down. It’s because of you that I am able to look at my Christmas decorations differently and use them in inspiring ways.
I counted 42 decorations that were repurposed
Thank you for everything you have done by allowing us to see your wonderful creations.
Aw, thank you Camisha! π
Eileen, thank u for the info on the jacks. Hoping I can still find them. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Love the video! So many awesome ideas. My guesstimate is 21. I had to watch it twice as there is soooo much to see and awe over!! Thank you for sharing your ideas!
Happy Thanksgiving, Eileen. I just purchased some white garlands with pink lights, and plan to frame the windows in my family room with them. I have a flocked white tree that I decorate in all pink, and think that the lights will compliment the tree nicely. Can you please tell me how you hang your pre lit garlands around windows? And, is there a trick to concealing the cords? (you may have covered this in previous posts, but I am new to following you (less than 2 weeks), and I cannot find anything about how you do it.) Thank you!!
Hi Donna & Welcome to The Seasonal Home! I (fortunately) have wood trim around my doorways so I am able to add a long nail to each corner, which holds up the garland well. Then, after the holidays, I remove the nails. Another idea (if your garland is not over 5 lbs.) is to use command strips (which are also removable). Or consider screwing in cup hooks in each corner.
Ideas for concealing the cords – lie them flat against the side of the wood door frame & use u-shaped nails to secure them or disguise the cord with a stack of wrapped gift packages, tall decoration, piece of furniture or very long tails of a bow.
Good luck!
Eileen
Thank you so very much, Eileen! I will try the long nail at the corners to hold the garland.
My closest guess is 55. I love your videos!
Love, love the video. Ohhh so beautiful and inspiring. I watched it several times and every time I watch the video I forget to count. Just beautiful. In fact last year I used one of your ideas, the initials (red and white) I ordered my husband and my initials from the link you provided, painted it and it was a hit with family and friends last year.
I’m in LOVE!! You certainly out did yourself again this year! I especially love your kitchen! I’m a big fan of all things gingerbread and also decorate my kitchen in the same theme but no where close to what yours looks like. Breathtaking for sure! I would love to know where you found the gingerbread men on the presents! I shop around a lot and haven’t come across anything like you have! Thank for sharing. Merry Christmas
Hi Danika and thank you for your nice comments! The Gingerbread men were from Cracker Barrel (about 3 years ago), but you might find them on eBay, Amazon, etc.? But they aren’t attached to the boxes… those are just cardboard gift boxes that I repurposed to help me lift the display. I hope that helps! Merry Christmas, Eileen
