Do you enjoy a little Christmas spirit in July? 

It’s amazing how many people enjoy escaping into the happy feeling that

thinking about, planning for or simply looking at Christmas provides… even year-round!

Have you seen how popular Christmas-themed INSTAGRAM accounts are?!!!

My guess would be that it provides a welcome break from today’s constant barrage of not-so-happy news.

So, to add in my own “bit of happy”, answer the many inquiries I’ve been receiving & in the spirit of “Christmas in July”,

I’m excited to share The Seasonal Home’s 2017 Christmas theme!  

To clarify… coming up with an annual Christmas theme is not a necessity,

but it IS the secret behind my personal decorating style.

Themes inspire me & fill up my creative gas tank. 

Bottom line… themes make Christmas decorating even more F-U-N!  

And coming up with a theme early in the year gives me plenty of time to decide

what supplies I already have to create it and

what, if anything, I might still need so I can keep an eye out for bargains.

  Also this year, I was asked if I would open up The Seasonal Home as a holiday fundraiser tour to benefit

a national children’s hospital so fingers crossed that I’ll create my best Christmas design yet.

Whew!  Between all of this creativity, my regular job & Christmas design business, it’s going to be a busy (but FUN) rest of the year!!!

So, without further ado – The Seasonal Home’s 2017 Christmas theme is….  TEAM NORTH POLE!  

This year, each room of The Seasonal Home will spotlight a different, invaluable member of the North Pole Team

(Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elves, Reindeer).

We all know that “Team Work makes the Dream Work!” 😉

And needless to say… the TRUE reason for the season will be front & center… as always.

As a matter of fact, I can’t wait to show you the unique way I’ll be honoring the Holy Family.

So, I hope you’ll join me in November to enjoy the photos & my annual YouTube video,

 AND for all of the “sneak peeks” (on my INSTAGRAM & FACEBOOK pages)  leading up to that time.

I’ll also do my best to post the finished design as early in November as possible to 

provide you with creative ideas that I hope will inspire your decorating too!
