We’ve been super busy at The Seasonal Home lately, growing, preparing for the holidays, our annual YouTube video, an in-house holiday tour to benefit a children’s hospital and creating a HUGE contest series to celebrate our 10th year of providing inspiration through creativity! If you haven’t joined us on Facebook or Instagram yet, please do because that will keep you much more up to date with inspiration, daily Christmas Sneak Peeks and numerous ways to enter our upcoming “12 Days of Christmas” Contest! It’s going to be SO much fun and also rewarding… for YOU.. so I hope you’ll join in on all the upcoming Christmas fun! 🙂

We have a lot of changes in the works, over the next year, so please bear with us as we work to update our website and begin expanding our content under a new category called “The Seasonal Home Kids”, including a new contributor – Ashley!

With a new job over the past year, I’ve desperately needed some help and I’m so grateful that Ashley agreed to come aboard. With that said, I’d like to introduce you to our new Social Media, Marketing & Communications Manager and the young lady who will be keeping all of us parents & grandparents in the loop regarding the latest for kids. I have my hands full lately, so Ashley is going to be an asset. Her youth has re-energized me & her knowledge will keep us all informed! I love how she is a very natural mom and amazing researcher. She’s always teaching me something new, so I am happy she has agreed to share her discoveries and knowledge with you too. So, please meet Ashley, my DIL and The Seasonal Home’s newest member…..

Hello! My name is Ashley, the new Seasonal Home Kids Rep! I’m a mom of two, daughter in law to Eileen and social media & content creator! I have a passion for sharing stories via photos/videos and helping people to connect, both virtually and in person! I am a lover all things Disney, anything colorful, sweet treats and, of course, the Holidays!

A little about me! In addition to being a mother and wife, I also volunteer with a few local non-profits in our community. I am a foodie, that’s had to adapt to a gluten-free lifestyle! (Trust me, I don’t miss out on much!) I work for an awesome local baby & kids boutique! And my hobbies include photography, travel, running & DIY! I’m a sucker for anything eco-friendly and a piece of cheesecake! I grew up in Southern Illinois in a rural farming community, I love going back any chance I get to visit friends and family! My dream vacation is a family trip to Europe!

My title at The Seasonal Home will be as the kids liaison and also the marketing and communications manager! I’ll be adding to The Seasonal Home Kids to enlarge our coverage & include parents, aunts/uncles, and grandparents, enlarging the seasons & holiday experience!

I’ll also be sharing inexpensive ideas for birthday parties, practical and sustainable gifts, holiday fun, healthy and allergy food related recipes & tradition ideas for kids, as well as being the TSH partnership liaison.
